Lincoln Roses Hockey Club

 

The Club

 

Lincoln Roses Hockey Club is a lively and growing club based at Lincoln University where it profits from excellent facilities. It runs 2 women's (soon to be 3) and 4 men's teams at senior level. Our women’s 1st XI currently competes in the East Hockey League, with the 2nd XI in the Lincolnshire Ladies Hockey League. Our men's 1st XI competes in the North Hockey League, with the remaining 3 teams competing in the Yorkshire Hockey League. The club also takes part in various tours throughout the season as well as a mixed hockey league during the summer break. Roses have a very close link to the University of Lincoln Hockey club - in fact, many of the club members are students and ex-students of the university and the college. Throughout the season the club also organises a number of social events which always guarantee a good night out and time to relax.

 

We are always on the look out for new players of all standards of play. No matter if you are new to hockey or an experienced and competitive player, if you are interested in joining our club, or just coming to one of our training sessions, please contact our club captain Gary Johnson.
